Recipe
Ingredients
- 120 grams of butter
- 8 tablespoons of water
- 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract
- 360 grams of sugar
- 360 grams of flour
- 120 grams of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of oil
- microwave
- grease proof paper
- 2 mixing bowls
- brownie tin (see notes for size)
- knife
- whisk
- melt butter in the microwave for approximately 1 minuet in mixing bowl 1.
- mix dry ingredients and water in mixing bowl 2, this will make mixture 1.
- add vanilla extract and oil to butter and mix, this will make mixture 2.
- slowly add mixture 1 to mixture 2, mixing well in-between.
- line brownie tin with grease proof paper and add mixture.
- microwave on high for approximately 2 minuets.
- if brownies not cooked (see notes for how to check accurately) put in for another minuet. repeat until cooked.
- wait until cooled before cutting (see notes for why).
Notes
- Brownie tin must fit in microwave.
- To check if cooked, insert a knife to the centre of brownies. If it comes out clean they are cooked, if it comes out dirty (brownie mix on it) it is still raw.
- If brownies are not cooled before cut they will crumble.
