One day.

Dear "that girl",
One day I'll do something. One day I'll do something unbelievable. One day I'll laugh in you face, because I actually did something with my life. One day I will be at the top of the league and I will be telling you what to do. One day we will swap places. One day You'll regret everything. One day you won't think of me in the same way you do now. One day I will claim victory. One day, that one precious day... One day I'll beat you. One day.

Apple crumble...

Ingredients

For the crumble

For the filling

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/Gas 4.
  2. Place the flour and sugar in a large bowl and mix well. Taking a few cubes of butter at a time rub into the flour mixture. Keep rubbing until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
  3. Place the fruit in a large bowl and sprinkle over the sugar, flour and cinnamon. Stir well being careful not to break up the fruit.
  4. Butter a 24cm/9in ovenproof dish. Spoon the fruit mixture into the bottom, then sprinkle the crumble mixture on top.
  5. Bake in the oven for 40-45 minutes until the crumble is browned and the fruit mixture bubbling.
  6. Serve with thick cream or custard.

PEOPLE

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS WORLD?!?!
Multiple things, actually. But I'm just going to focus om the tings I "Hate" - remember that I use this term loosely, try not to get offended...

When people get the only good books left in the library.
Okay, so, they can't read minds (or can they? - NO SHUT UP), but its still annoying. I go to a high school where it compulsory to read books and you have to complete 10 minutes of reading (minimum) every day, so when I finish a book I have to immediately get a new one. So this annoys me to unbelievable extents. Especially since I have a very particular fashion, where I only read books of genres I like - eg. Romance, mystery (on occasion), historic and death (certain horrors, in other words) - which means, consequently, when someone takes a book I was hoping to read, it takes me a good 20  minutes to find another. UGH!

When people call your name.
Some people may find this fine, but I am not extremely "popular". I make friends with the "weirdos" and "nerds" because I am one of them. This means that the people who think they are "cool" annoy the duck out of me. I have made friends with a few groups: the artistic/anime obsessed people, the "emo children" (as I like to call them), the book worms, and those people everyone knows but they're not too popular (because they're weirdos). The problem with befriending the book worms is that people mock them for being smart, but once you get to know them they are wonderful, kind, funny, people. As well ad this, by becoming friends with the emo children I have dragged myself into being called an Emo my self - or even mistaken as a goth! Also I'm the head of science's daughter, so that's an issue too, but its fine. Still on this point, I like a lot of "geeky" subjects (maths, science, drama, computing, etc...) so people mock me of that, too. So these "cool" and "popular" people always yell "Hey Emma!", "Hi!", "oo, hi", "Emzee!", really obnoxiously and loud. WHICH IS ANNOYING!

When people ask me why I ma friends with [enter random friends name here].
Do I need to explain this?

When people criticize my dreams.
I want to be a Drama teacher, but many people have said "Why? That's not a proper job!" and basically laughed in my face (Which I do not recommend doing, for I ma an expert arguer). WHY DO YOU DO THIS!?!?

When people try to win an argument against me.
As previously said, I am an amazing arguer - even ask my sister, she can confirm! No one can beat me in an argument, because I have comebacks ready, matched prepared for lighting, storm clouds waiting for energy and a lightswitch (called my fist).
~ correction: my parents can win  arguments against me, but only because they're my parents. I guess my Dad is good at arguing, he has won a few times. With my mum its more like stale mate. ~

Anyway... That's enough ranting for today, see y'all next time - BYEEEEE!!

When you like makeup...

I like makeup.
Today I got new makeup - good quality. FOR FREE?!?!?!?
Yeah, I was so exited and tried it out, the eyeshadow was AMAZING and the lipstick was well pigmented. But where to put it?

Okay, so I need more makeup bags.

I have known this for a while, considering my lip products are literally overflowing from their bag. But then I got a new eyeshadow pallet... I have two large bags, two medium bags, a small bag and a box set (along with some loose products and brushes).

Conclusion:
Get me new makeup bags - my birthday is in two weeks (1st of febuary).

The lagoon

Clear water dances around the stones and rocks within the stream, jumping and swaying endlessly. Willows hang over, creating a tunnel of green down its path, almost completely shielding it from sunlight. The slithers that do seep through, however, shine beams of light onto the crystal waters, creating beautiful spectacles for the eye. Pebbles line the waters edge, just before the grass begins, rounded and steady - keeping its banks intact. You could walk across it, at various points, stepping carefully on each smoothened rock; but one inch out of step, and the treacherous veins will drag you further down the rapids.
The masses of water then fall to the pool, right at the bottom of a colossal drop. Here you will find small waves crashing upon the sandy banks, surrounded by sakura in perfect blossom. This lagoon was shallow yet deep, with crystal clear water filling it's pool, drifting petals floating on the surface. The water was so clear that you could see the shadows of the pink petals on the bottom of the lagoon, almost as if they were floating above the exotic fish. These multi-coloured fish would swim in and out of each other, weaving paths through the plants settled calmly on the bed, their feather-like fins flowing gracefully as they glide. As you sit on the sand, feet dipped in the water, you can just abut here the faint rustling of the waterfall approximately 30 feet in front of you, behind which is a secret cavern where the spectacular lizards thrive.
These lizards are only found in close proximity of this particular lagoon. They live quite lives, no enemies or threats, just them. They eat the smaller fish of the pool along with small pants that line the rocks below. Slithering between the other wildlife, they flourish with the ever-growing flowers. Forever they have lived here, forever unharmed, but then comes man -  who turns this utopia into a dead plain.
The forests surrounding this small destination would confuse you to the point of insanity, so they planned ahead. Man destroys all the trees, removing these creatures from their natural habitat. They observe the small amount still living there before taking them into captivity. This changes them drastically. without the cold mountain ranges surrounding the sakura forest which isolates the lagoon, they go mad. This is what man does. This is why we need to listen to naturists and biologists. This is why we need to just stop.

Okay, right, sorry. I tried; but failed. Sadly, I forgot to post yesterday. Therefore, I am posting TWICE today!! Even if it is past ten o'clock... heh heh...
Anyways... Farewell my little snowflakes!!

Equality VS Equity

Lets start with defenitions...

Equality

NOUN

the state of being equal, especially in status, rights, or opportunities:
"an organization aiming to promote racial equality"

VS

Equity

NOUN

the quality of being fair and impartial:
"equity of treatment"
synonyms: fairness · fair-mindedness · justness · justice ·

DONT CLICK OFF YET
I want to explain stuff, commonly misunderstood stuff (to be exact(ish))

I am an anti-sexist, anti-racist, Equity believing human being - as we should all be. However, I do not want to make you believe, nor force you to think what I do, just simply to explain my beliefs and thoughts.
I think everyone is equal.
Short, tall, wide, thin, black, white, olive, mixed, Islam, Christian, Buddhist, Man, woman, LGBT+... what I am saying is; I believe EVERYBODY is equal (with acceptance to age and things like that - because a two year old cant exactly be considerd for a teaching job) in body and mind. If you are a human, you are a human. you are not a "black girl" or an "Asian man", you are human. Yes, labels identify where you are from and what you look like - but not your personality! Say you are Asian, which you could well be, but not the smartest and this happens:
 "you're smart, aren't you (y/n)?"
"I guess... why?"
"whats the answer to [a thing]?"
"Oh, I'm not good at [the thing]."
"but you're Asia-"
STOP.
Asian peope are usually perceived as smart because of Japan {helpful link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mh5LY4Mz15o }, but this is WRONG. They just tend to be a tad more smart than the rest of the world. But... It might just be that their parents are Asian - meaning they are not actually from asia (but still Asian) which could mean they are not as smart as thought?? Idk.
Also... The slave trade RUINED BLACK PEOPLES LIVES FOREVER. that wasn't good.
White people are for some reason evil though, which - being a white brittish woman myself - I find very true, mainly in history now cos brittish people are just too nice sometimes (because we're plotting your demise) but other times everyone ignores everyone else.

Now... GENDER RULES. When the fwaq did these happen? oh yeah, Adam and Eve...
Why men are - and always have been - seen as better people to women is simple: 'Man' was "created" before 'woman'. But my thoughts are:
some plants are A-sexual (don't need a partner) so why do humans? Everone who has done chromosones in science knows men are XY and women are XX, so men are missing one part of the second X - making them mutated. Carrying on from this, all men begin development in  the womb as women, then turn into men, this furthers the evidence that men are mutations. So, I say, man was a mistake, so "god" tried again and made woman - which was a success! So, correct me if you think I'm wrong, but that is my theory.

Also! also!
Men are still equal to women, even if albert Einstein begs to differ or if I believe they are (technically) mutations.

So, what I don't get is why women were treated so badly, and - in most places - still are?

If you don't believe me, seriously look at the man vs women's pay difference. its quite shocking!

Now for the debate:
One tall man (T), one medium man (M), one short man (S) and a football game...

Equality:
T - This is great!
M - It's okay... *on tippy toes*
S - I cant see! *jumps up and down*
M - Ill get a box for us, (S).
T - Unfair! I want one too!
*all get a box to stand on*
T/M - This is great!
S - "I still cant see properly..."
BUT IT IS EQUAL.

Equity:
T - This is great!
M - I cant quite see... Ill get a box so I am at the same level as you. *gets box*
S - That means I will need two! Then we can all see the game and we will all be on the same level. *gets two boxes*
T/M/S -  THIS IS GREAT!
BUT IT IS NOT EQUAL. Or is it?

The Word #3

Trump hands over business empire to sons

US President-elect Donald Trump says he is handing over his business empire to his sons, Donald Jr and Eric.
He told a news conference he had formally given "complete and total" control to them in a bid to avoid conflicts of interest.
Mr Trump's lawyer said the President-elect had "isolated" himself from his businesses.
Sheri Dillon said Mr Trump wanted to be clear that he was not using his presidency for his personal benefit.
Speaking at Mr Trump's first news conference since he was elected in November, Ms Dillon explained that all of the Trump Organization's businesses would be transferred to a trust controlled by his sons and the chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg, before Mr Trump takes power on January 20.
"Together, Don, Eric, and Allen will have the authority to manage the Trump Organization and will make decisions for the duration of the presidency without any involvement whatsoever by President-elect Trump," said Ms Dillon, whose firm Morgan, Lewis and Bockius has been instructed by Mr Trump to draw up a structure to keep his business interests separate.
Ms Dillon added that an ethics adviser would be appointed to the management board of the trust to oversee any potential conflicts of interest.

Turning down deals

No new foreign deals will be made during Mr Trump's presidency, according to Ms Dillon, and domestic deals will be subject to a "rigorous vetting process".
And she said the group has cancelled more than 30 pending deals in recent weeks, in order to avoid potential conflicts of interest.
Earlier in the news conference Mr Trump said he had rejected a $2bn deal in Dubai last weekend, demonstrating he was putting his business activities behind him.
Previous presidents have relinquished control of their business assets by putting them into what is known as a blind trust, run by independent trustees.
Mr Trump spoke last year about dealing with his holdings in this way. However, he then questioned whether it would be a blind trust if his children were in charge of the company.
His daughter Ivanka, whose husband has been named as a senior adviser to the President-elect, will not be involved with the Trump Organization in the future, said Ms Dillon.

Hey, at least he's done something nice, especially after announcing the tax payers of America will pay for the Mexican wall: Then us brits are over here like "well we messed up our lives, good job you messed up yours too!" Eh, we're all going to die because of the voting system and the inability to see the future. Meh.
Talk to you next time, peace!
